The Blue Ocean Strategy is method taken from strategic management, aiming to develop lasting profitable business models. Its principal idea is that only by the development of innovative, new markets (the so-called Blue Oceans that offer relevant benefits to distinguish clients and non-clients within the wide masses) is possible to be successful on the long term, by making the competition meaningless, by the aquisition of new clients and by optimised cost structures. We have refined this method - originally developed in the USA - to cater for the needs of sales.
